Our Story
Word of mouth,
since 1995.
George and Renee Robertson didn't set out to build a BBQ institution. George worked in logging. Renee worked in dentistry. They cooked for the Fosters-Ralph Volunteer Fire Department, helping the community raise money on weekends.
The signature Boston Butt came first — local groups asked them to cook for fundraisers. The first big one was Myrtlewood Elementary in Fosters, raising money so their daughter's class could make the trip to Washington, D.C. From there, word spread.
Catering came a few years later. Then the country store, just a mile down the road. Then The Barn — their daughter Jennifer's idea — where hundreds of couples have since said "I do." Thirty years in, the family is still cooking, still serving, and still working from the same place they started: their pit, their people, and their word.
"We absolutely love what we do, and love all of the people we have met over the years."
